This week I will be listing a number of old items from a local estate. I buy at local auctions and estate sales in rural NH all week and list most everything I find on Ebay. All items guaranteed to be vintage and original, no reproductions. Check my other auctions for more fun old stuff. THIS ITEM: This is as nice an example of a porcelain license plate as you'll find anyw I was astonished when I found it in a pile of books at a local barn sale. It's a 1914 Massachusetts plate, cobalt blue on white, measuring 14" by 5 1/2". Marked on the back "ING - RICH MFG. CO., Porcelain Auto Tag, Beaver Falls, Pa." The front of this plate is nearly perfect - no chips, stains, or other blemishes. T is a tiny scratch near the bottom between the 8 and the 3, barely noticeable - mentioned only for complete accuracy. T is a small chip on the edge of one of the openings on the back side of the plate, but the front is beautiful. This will be an upgrade for most collectors - I doubt you'll find a better one.
