For bid is an AMAZING 1915 Charlie Chaplin & Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle LIVE ON STAGE Los Angeles, California charity program celebrating the "First Public Presentation of the Booster Club $2,500.00 Prize Song in Glorification of Southern California." These performances took place at the Shrine Auditorium on August 2, 1915 "under the Auspices of the Los Angeles Examiner" newspaper. This terrific souvenir program has 20 unnumbered pages including covers. The front cover has a beautiful young woman wearing a "Miss California" hat and shwe's singing lyrics around the world. Silent movies and entertainment stars that would perform on the stage are as follows: Madam Ernestine Schumann-Heink, Miss Maud Allan, Eddie Foy (and the little Foys), Raymond Hitchcock, Marcella Craft, Nat Goodwin, Charles Winninger, Florencio Constantino, Miss Flora Zabelle, Lillian Lorraine, Blanche Ring, Charles Murray, Charles Chaplin, Miss Roszika Dolly, Fred Mace, Roscoe Arbuckle, Mabel Normand, George McManus, Louis F. Gottschalk. So, it was an evening of comic skits, music and performances in Los Angeles. This was the same stage w the first Academy Awards ceremony was held in 1929...
