This is a great condition 1915 open field Navajo single saddle blanket measuring 35 inches wide and 25 inches long. This was woven in the Crystal area of the Navajo Nation. Its a Very Nice piece that will wear great on the floor and last forever. This weaving is in great condition for its age. The weaving has a weft to warp count of 14 to 8. It's getting hard to find good old saddle blankets as most of them were used up and then thrown away. It was woven of nice hand spun Churro wool both weft and warp. The colors in this blanket are brown/black, a blackish red and grey. The selvage cords are in great shape with no breaks and no repairs. There is no moth damage, no dye bleed and limited repairs on the blanket. The rug is some what clean now with a few light stains. It can be used and displays very well just the way it is. All corners are in the best of shape with 3 original tassel intact and one tassel that has been restored. Both sides of this rug are pictured above. Don't miss out on the chance to own a old saddle blanket at a great price. This blanket is Guaranteed to be Navajo and in the condition described. See pictures.I have collected Navajo rugs for many years. This blanket will be insured and will have delivery conformation. Please look at my other rugs and blankets. Thanks Navajorugman
