WW1 1915 Webley MK.V1.455" Revolver Holster-L230 British Officers Service Revolver Holster. The holster is marked HG & R 1915, however if you look at the photos you will see the markings are difficult to make out, probably because of polishing or just general use. The 15 and the R are still visible and the H can be seen under a good light, but I can not make out the G and the 19. The holster is in great condition and has the original; brass button, hook and ring. It could do with a good polish, however, I will leave that to the buyer, as I am not sure if it is the right thing to do. I can even supply a photo of the original owner (my great grandfather) if the buyer would like. An identical holster to this sold recently for £200 and another for £1000 with a decommissioned Webley MKV1.455. This rarely comes on the antique militarily market.
