A very nice two volume set of the "Manual for the Quartermaster Corps - United States Army - 1916". The leather-bound manual volume one is 802 pages and loaded with illustrations of all the cool stuff from tents and plans for all kinds of camps and buildings through all kinds of wagons and rolling stock, saddles and harness. Baking gear, veterinary supplies and so much more. The second volume is called the "Appendix" and it is 594 pages. Both are embossed with "Captain Peter Ostrom" and "Manual Q.M.C." The appendix is loaded with changes and modifications made up through 1919 and pasted into the book. Captain Ostrom wrote his hame in the books as well. Leather covers have some scuffing but the interior of the manuals are in fine condition. Also included is a train schedule between NY, Phil, Baltimore and Wash. D.C. for all railroads, which I found in the manual. Both volumes will be shipped media mail, shipping is $5.00.
