PLEASE NOTE -all items sold are Antique /Vintage and used -whilst I try and describe condition to the best of my ability all items are used and sold as such.1916 WW1 Trench Art 18 Pdr engraved HMS M24 (Monitor Ship) with flowers/patternsEBAY - HISTORIAL PATTERNED ITEM - DISTORTED SHAPE / RIM - CANNOT BE RE-USED27.6cm tall.I assume engraved by crew member of M24 Ship - Royal Naval Moniter Ship - basically a small ship with a large Gun used for protecting Dover Straights from what I can make out.The whole of one side is patterned with flower design panel .HMS M24 at top edge.The detail has worn with polishing by look of it.Brass all needs a good polish up.Base marked 18 Pr II /|/ 6/16 (1916)The edge of rim has been fluted / distorted.Suitable for door stop / vase etc.Requires further researchPicture below of similar Ship in Class SOLD AS HISTORICAL RESEARCH ITEM - NOT DANGEROUS Sold as shown POSTAGE UK £7.45 Europe - £14.40 Rest of World- £24.15 I WILL NOT LIE ON CUSTOMS FORMS Re-Ebay feedback star rating system please email me if you feel I am not 5* so I change my approach, I seem to be dropping points for no apparent reason - I try to describe item as I seem offering every fault I answer emails- I mark as despatched the moment items are posted (Sorry I cannot email every customer to let them know it has been sent) I post read more
