Up for auction is a March 27, 1917 Muskogee (Oklahoma) Times-Democrat newspaper that features front page bold headlines announcing U.S. preparations for an imminent declaration of war against Germany due the growing tensions between the United States and Germany over it's policy of unrestricted U-Boat warfare. T he newspaper is in good condition and is very delicate and brittle. The newspaper came from a bound library volume and exhibits chipping and paper loss on the edges. The newspaper should be handled with the utmost care upon receipt. The newspaper will be shipped flat using Priority Mail within the United States. Please do not ask for any other shipping service.
