1918 TYPE-A Unit Sight for Signal Corps. From Kodak I am pleased to offer at this time a 1918 TYPE-A Unit Sight for Signal Corps. From Kodak. I acquired this item several weeks ago at an auction. Sight tube is 25 3/8" long and 2" in diameter. It has a lense on each end and on one end it says EYE-END. Looking through eye end reveals two circles, one larger with a much smaller one inside of it and the letters 110 is below both circles. Item appears to be some kind of sight glass or range finder. The outside of the tube is stamped SIGNAL CORPS. U.S.A., UNIT SIGHT, TYPE-A, SERIAL NO. 16236, ORDER NO. 20531 - DATE:JAN 26, 1918. Also on the eye end of scope is marked MADE BY EASTMAN KODAK CO., ROCHESTER N.Y. U.S.A. Item is old and used. It has some scuff makes and paint wear on the outside of the tube, however, no dents w noted. Please look at the pictures and ask questions.
