From the estate of a Palm Springs, CA collector of WESTERN EPHEMERA comes this guaranteed ORIGINAL, RARE 5 1/2"x8 1/4" TONOPAH & GOLDFIELD RAILROAD COMPANY FREIGHT BILL, dated 6/30 1919 to consignee GOLDFIELD CONSOLIDATED MINES CO, GOLDFIELD NEVADA for ROPE CLAMPS in the amount of 2.51 It is stamped PAID VOUCHER NO 1884 The RAILROAD was formed in 1905 by the merger of the TONOPAH and GOLDFIELD RAILROADS and ran about 100 miles from MINA, NEVADA to GOLDFIELD until 1947 when the line was abandoned.
