This came out of a local estate. The US Naval Training Camp was authorized in 1917 to be built on the University of Washington Campus. The soft cover book measures 8 ½” x 14” and contains 49 pages. This book is like a yearbook that shows the different classes, officers in charge of instructions, petty officer, Aviation detachment, pictures of the facilities, pictures of training including the ground aviation school, information about the school ship U.S.S. Princeton and much more. The camp was in operation from 1917 to 1919. The book is in good condition with the following noted: soiling on the front and back cover, wear on the front and back cover, minor tears and wear along the edges and the last page showing the camp has come loose from the book.
