This is a wonderful image of the old highway on The Nuuanu Pali taken in 1919 by Baker Honolulu and used for this Real Photo Post Card. See the man looking over the concrete wall and peaks. The sender, a U.S. Navy ship's doctor wrote "Went over this drive in a big Cadillac yesterday. You get a wonderful view of our side of the Island and it is one of the famous places." He was on his way to Vladivostok and service in Asia. Postcard mailed December 1919.
