1920 & 1925 RODEO PROGRAMS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP CHICAGO "1920's CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO PROGRAMS" This auction is for 3 championship 'Cowboy' Rodeo programs. Each of the programs is different and I will detail below. The common theme with all of the programs is that they are promoted/produced by Tex Austin and held in Chicago. 1) 'WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST' Simple folded (6 inches x 9 inches) 1 page sheet black printing on tanned white paper on both sides. Indicates the contestants and the 12 events that would be held. The contest is dated Saturday, July 3rd 1920 and was held in or around the stockyards in Chicago. T are a few manuscript emmandations in a space provided for indicating times and scores for the various performers. This event was produced by Tex Austin. 2) 'OFFICIAL RULES AND ENTRIES OF THE WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST OF COWBOY SPORTS' 14 page, purple and white printed, saddle stapled program (6 inches x 9 inches) featuring an inside cover portrait of Austin in addition to his biography. The program details each of the events, the prize money to be won, and the rules. The program is for an event held in Chicago from July 3rd to 11th 1920. 3) 'OFFICIAL PROGRAM - WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP RODEO CONTEST' Saddle stapled, 96 page rodeo program with blue printed / pictorial wraps.
