Published in 1920 by Chiswick Press of London as part of the ‘Pictures of Old London Catalogue ' this print is guaranteed to be an engraving from that publication. Ranelagh Estate in Chelsea was much involved in high fashion throughout the 1700s. It was demolished in 1805 and the grounds became part of the Chelsea Hospital. The Chelsea Flower Show is now held on the site. Produced on cream coloured paper, the print measures 12x10 inches (30x26cm), with an image size of 10x6.5 inches (26x17cm). The print is titled and paginated; it is blank on the reverse. The print is in good condition for its age - any minor blemishes that are present are confined to the border and will be unnoticeable following mounting/framing.
