Gillette Bostonian Safety Razor SetUp for auction is this Gillette Bostonian Safety Razor Set. The date on the razor is January 13, 1920. There are 2 minor stress fractures on the handle near the top and bottom, respectively. This was not unusual in these old Gillettes, and the integrity of the razor has not been compromised.This razor is quite shiny and in very good condition. It does have a couple of pin pricks on the edge of the guard (see photo 6). The metal case has seen better days but is included with the razor. The hinges on the case that raise and lower the razor platform are missing and much wear is shown on the metal and cloth surfaces. Also included is the matching metal blade case.This Bostonian Razor is great for shaving and should last for many, many years.
