We are offering this set at no reserve. It was bought at Nguyen Freres in Hanoi, Vietnam. This Art Deco lounge set is made of rosewood and is a deep burgundy, see pictures (additional pictures can be emailed on request). Dimensions on the chairs are as follows: 24"Lx 21"W x 29"H. Please note because it was made in the 1920's, wood shrinkage has occurred and t are two minor splits in the chairs, but it is still very sturdy and can be used every day. T is one on the seat that is a hairline and follows the grain. These could use a thin pillow on the seats. These are smaller than most club chairs and a little lower to the ground. That is part of their appeal. They are really hot. The arms are fat and curved. They were built for the French when they were in Vietnam; somew between the 1920s to the 1930s was the time frame that was given to the original owner when he spoke to the shop owner in Hanoi. Hence the split in the wood. One of them is actually natural in one chair and the other split occurs w the seat and back meets in the other chair. I am 5-10 and 200 pounds and i can sit in them. This is for pickup only. We cannot ship these. We can have them delivered to Manhattan for a small fee. This can be picked up in Westchester county.
