AS-IS" CALIFORNIA IMPRESSIONISM LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING (ORIGINALLY SOLD IN PASADENA, CA.) WITH ORIGINAL FRAME FROM 1920'S This "as-is" painting measures 10 5/8" x 14 1/2" with the original frame and 9" x 12" without the frame. The medium is oil-on-board and the paint has a nice built-up "impasto" effect on the grasses, shrubs and trees. It depicts a typical Southern California landscape with wonderful atmospheric effect. The AS-IS painting is in fair shape with even toning and minor scratches/foxing dots. The original frame is included however it is badly scraped up (mostly on the edges) and has some gesso loss...please see photos with zoom tool. The frame still has the original "THE BROWN SHOP, PASADENA, CA." gallery sticker on the back (see photo). The painting is signed in the lower right corner but I can't make it out (see close-up photo). This is part of my grandmother's art collection which she had collected here in Los Angeles during the time period. Please see my other paintings on Ebay and save $$$ with combined shipping.
