First, I want to thank you for taking the time to view my auction!!In this auction you are bidding on - an Oil Can. This is an Antique 1920's EN-AR-CO Motor Oil Can. 5 Gallon Rocker Can. This features advertising on the front and back with a boy at the top holding a slate. This slate reads En-ar-co What A Difference. Around the edges of the slate it reads En-ar-co Motor Oil, En-ar-co Gear Compound, National Light Kerosene, and White Rose gasoline. Below this boy it reads: En-Ar-Co Motor oil - "The Oil Of A Million Tests" - The National Refining Co. - Scientific Refining - Cleveland Ohio. The side of the can is embossed with: ICC-39C - STC - 24 5 28 - ST Louis Can Co - Pour-Ezee Tilting Drum - Trademark ??? - Pat May 10-1921 - Others Pending. I think the question marks are the letters REG, but I can't make them out. This has only one noticable dent on the side, below and to the right of the pour spout. This dent is not severe enough that I could capture it with my camera. This does not detract from the overall appearance of the can!I am not an expert on anything I sell. I purchase estates and buy abandoned storage units. The items I list for sale are just items I have found in one of these ways.
