Beautiful like new condition 1920s Brady Scientific Daylite Adapter in the original box with instruction sheet. In is made of mahogany brown bakelite with an opaline green glass insert and a thick lens in the base. It appears to have the original Mazda bulb inside. The bulb is replaceable with any 60 watt bulb. It was made by the Brady Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan. It was supposed to save your eyes by duplicating natural day light by filtering the artificial light and intensify it through the lens. The green glass it intended to illuminate the inside of a bridge lamp shade, or to project diffused light when used in a ceiling fixture. This is a very unusual and attractive 1920s light .
