Listing a great 1915-1920's era Solid Quartersawn Oak Sideboard/Buffet/Server in very good original condition. It is a solid Mission Oak style piece of furniture by a quality Boston MA furniture maker. The finish is very dark. This is what commonly is called fumed oak, very popular in the first 20 years of the 20th century. The sideboard is 52 inches tall including the 3 1/4 inch backsplash. It is 56 1/4 inches wide from end to end. The lower shelf is 19 1/4 inches deep and the upper shelf is 14 inches deep (excluding the posts.) There are no breaks to the legs or any other parts of the sideboard. This is constructed of solid oak (absolutely no veneers.) The doors and drawers are in great shape as well. The beveled glass mirror is in awesome condition. The pulls are heavy duty solid brass. The original key is included with the sideboard. The sideboard was made by Paine Furniture of Boston Massachusetts. This sideboard has only had 2 owners. I am the second and have had it for over 35 years. I bought it from the original owner when she was downsizing her household. I am only selling because I am doing the same. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll get right back to you with an answer. Winning bidder has 30 days after purchase and payment to pick the item up. Thank you for viewing and have a great day!
