This is a heavy stoneware jardiniere planter from the 1920's. This style was often glazed in a majolica multicolored type glaze inside and out but this one is more subdued. The bottom of the pot actually has kind of a periwinkle blue glaze. The exterior of the pot is glazed in a mauve, and the interior of the pot is sort of a mulberry tone. The pot has been used and there is slight discoloration inside. It also has the usual pock marks typical of McCoy for this period. No chips or cracks. 4" tall. Thank you for your interest!
