This is a HEAVILY SILVERED photograph of a 1920's woman in a fabulous hat of the day in a LUCITE Stand-up Frame. Found this at an outstanding upscale Estate Sale in Dallas about 25 years ago. There was no identification available for the subject, but there was speculation that she was an up and coming actress and friend of the family. I liked the look, especially the hat, AND the Lucite stand-up frame. Everything is in order with the condition with one exception that is easily remedied. There were TWO pieces of glass, one on the front and the other on the back. The glass pieces, the photo and the paper backing all just sat in the stand free-form. The back piece of glass didn't make the years of storage, but a comparable piece of glass could be found in an inexpensive frame and substituted. The remaining glass, the photo and the paper backing are approx 5" by 7". The LUCITE stand is approx 8" wide and about 3" high. I LOVE BOTH THE STAND AND THE PHOTOGRAPH, THEY'RE A GREAT FIND!
