Provenance: From the estate of actor Jack Haley, best known for his role as the Tin Man in the Wizard of OZ - According to family members, Haley was a huge opera fan and this record hung in his home office for decades. After his death in 1979, his daughter moved back into her father's house where she lived until her passing last year. Obtained directly from her Beverly Hills estate sale which was held last year. If you're an opera fan or sign collector or an RCA Nipper fan, you won't find a more unique display item for your collection. Original double-sided metal and porcelain record store display sign measures a large 28 inches across. Album is for one of Caruso's most famous songs "Aida-Celeste Aida" which was released in 1911 - Most historians agree that Caruso's popularity and records were single-handedly responsible for the huge amount of Victor Talking Machine (Victrola) sales during 1904-1920 - Note the price of "$3 in USA" on album.
