This very nice, early TIN is "THE PETER RABBIT BASKET FOR KIDDIES". It was produced in the 1920-30's and held candy.This Tin is 6" across. There 6 scenes on the sides of the Tin that tell a story and are numbered so the owner can follow the story correctly.The Illustrator was HARRISON CADY. His name appears along the bottom edge of the number 6 scene. Scenes 1 and 2 are on the front of the tin, 3 on one end, 4 and 5 of the back and 6 on the other end.The Tin has great color and is complete. It is in very good condition, particularly considering the age. There are some light spots of discoloration the to top in the clouds and a couple of small spots of light rust on the bottom of the tin. Please look closely at all the pictures. I did not attempt to do more than wipe off the years of dust when I purchased the tin.
