This is one of six pieces of very early silk Scalamandre from the earliest years of the firm, probably 1929 or 1930. I believe that this is called the "Pomegranate" pattern. The colors on your monitor are true to life! This piece measures 23" X 67". This is a piece of the fabric that was pictured, it was a drapery and I took it apart for the lining was missing anyway. It's been steam cleaned and pressed by yours truly. T are no holes, but t are some areas of sunfading that have come through the back to the front, mostly on the selvages. This is a great early piece of fabric from the so talented Mr. Scalamandre, and the quality stands strong, even as old as this fabric is. A great chance to get a bunch of it if you need six pieces do check my other listings darling you'll be glad you did as this type of fabric really doesn't show up anymore that often. I only take paypal for I have had too many deadbeat buyers in the past. I will consider a postal money order if you email me politely and explain why you are afraid of paypal. Of all the things to be afraid of in today's world darling, terrorists, $8 cups of coffee and fat free cheese, paypal is really not one of them but I imagine t are a few people that still are.
