This auction is for a vintage STOCK MARKET ticker tape machine .
It is a Dow Jones and Co. Inc. machine that has the broad tape .
I purchased this unit from a local antique shop,
(They said it came from a retired stock broker from Boston .)
It is about 4 feet tall and 18" wide .
I don't know anything about this item , so I will describe it ,
to the best of my ability.
Please ask any questions before the end of the auction .
I see that the last patent number inside the machanical part
is 1667531 which is a 1926 date .
We found these on several places on the internet.

I have added a lot of pictures ,
so that you can see the insides of this unit well.
I have no idea if it works, as I see no plug .
The insides appear in good condition,
as seen in the pictures .
T is a very nice name plate in the front center
that says " DOW JONES WALL STREET JOURNAL " .
T is a hook just below it
w the clipboard would hang .
IT IS NOT INCLUDED !
WE HAVE LISTED IT IN A SEPARATE AUCTION .
In case someone has a nice unit and is missing a clipboard .
We pictured the clipboard on it ,
to show what it originally looked like.

T is a short section of chain on one side , which would have
had scissors on the end originally, I think.
T are no scissors with this unit .
And the chained scissors would have been placed in the holder
that you see in the pictures, on the side of the machine .
It has a nice embossed " DOW JONES " on it .
This is quite a nice showpiece for a stock broker
or finance office etc .
It has some visible wear in spots .
Click on the photos for closeups .
This is a heavy unit at just over 100 pounds .
So pick up in North Central Vermont is an option .
But , if that isn't feasable ,
we will box and ship it , if possible , to you .

EBAY DOESN'T HAVE A FED EX CALCULATOR
BUT CHECK OUT THE UPS COST
AND FEDEX IS A LITTLE CHEAPER .

An example of shipping costs By FEDEX looks to be
around $80.00 to Kentucky , and $100.00 to 90210 California ,
and to Wall Street in New York it was $75 ,
as examples.

By UPS it looks like a little more ...
Because , I did it to 90210 California and it was $114 .
This gives you a basic idea of cost .

Remember * THE CLIPBOARD * isn't included .
So ,If you want to have it back on this machine ,
