For your consideration is this vintage tin litho & red painted wood tabletop toy manufactured in the 1920's by Hustler Toy Corporation, Sterling, Illinois. The game is called Intercollegiate Foot Ball. Nice tin litho graphics on the front with instructions and three moveable pointer hands to keep scores for each team and downs. There are two metal rods to keep track of the yards. One has the moveable rubber piece. The other rod does not have one. On the front is a working button that is pushed down to turn a tin cylinder that determines the plays/fumbles/yards gained/goals, etc. of each team. The back underside has the full official rules printed on the tin. The wood frame has dovetail corners. The game measures 9 x 13.75 inches. This toy is not intended for children's play. Is is being sold for collector purpose only. Condition: The tin litho has some scratches, dents, & soils. The metal pointer hand on the right was bent at one time and scraped off some paint in a circular pattern. The red paint is worn/faded in some areas with a few nicks/scratches.
