Great antique figural cast iron "U.S. Treasury" building still bank manufactured by the Grey Iron Casting Co. of Mount Joy, PA during the 1920's. Bank has the characteristic long coin slot (1 1/4") that will easily accommodate a half dollar. Piece is in original ivory/off-white & red paint. Constructed of 5 cast pieces & a sheet metal base, all held together with a single long screw running from back to front. I have not taken the piece apart, tfore, winning bidder also gets the 3 pennies in the bank. MARKS: Unmarked SIZE: 3 1/8" wide x 3 5/8" deep x 3 1/2" high CONDITION: Other than some minor paint chips and a few years of dirt & grime, bank is in great original condition with no damage & displays well. *** Be sure to bid early & bid often, as I reserve the right to end a sale early due to lack of interest. *** Please make all necessary inquiries prior to placing your bids as ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
