1920's Vintage Santa Claus Doll. Has painted (canvas?) face. Paint is in beautiful, bright condition. 28" tall. Body is stuffed with straw, wrapped in cotton material under satin outfit. Heavy wood or composite boots enable it to stand on its own. Boots are complete, no cracks or breaks, missing a little paint on bottom. White hair beard and piping on jacket has turned gray over time I am sure it can be cleaned but don't know how. Satin jacket has come undone on right shoulder at seam, 2 inches and 1" on other shouler. left hand is barely attached can be sowed. Small water stain on back of jacket. the good news is that it is all original< nothing missing or broken>no old repairsvery well preserved for being so old Always has been in smoke free, pet free home.
