"The Morgan Dollar was a United States dollar coin minted intermittently from 1878 to 1921. It was the first standard silver dollar minted since production of that denomination ceased due to the passage of the Fourth Coinage Act, an act which also ended the free coining of silver. The coin is named for its designer, United States Mint Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan. The obverse depicts a profile portrait representing Liberty, while the reverse depicts an eagle with wings outstretched." This is a 1921-P Morgan Silver Dollar. There is no mint mark located above the word "Dollar" on the reverse side of the coin indicating this coin was minted in Philadelphia. This coin belonged to my grandfather and I am hoping to find it a home with someone who will appreciate it as much as he did. (Grading is based on my grandfathers appraisal of his collection.) Coin will be shipped promptly after confirmation of payment using the United States Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation. Shipment to US addresses only. Paypal only accepted form of payment.
