Rare 1924 DELCO-LIGHT Silver Sales Contest Trophy. Trophy is Marked "Presented To G. J. Burman Winner Delco Light Sales Contest January 1924". Trophy is in good condition for its age but has some dents on the back (see pics). Trophy is silver plate, and is 6 1/2" tall and 6" wide.DELCO-LIGHT was best known for their DELCO-LIGHT Systems or DELCO-LIGHT Plants. When they were introduced in 1916 most farms did not have electricity. These small gas powered generator / battery systems could provide enough electricity to power the farm. They had 25 different models that could produce watts of power.
