1924 FRESHMAN MASTERPIECE 5 TUBE 3 DIAL BATTERY RADIO This listing is for a 5 tube Freshman Masterpiece early battery radio set. This radio has been restored both cosmetically and electrically. The cabinet has been refinished in lacquer, and the bakelite panel has been cleaned and white lacquer stick applied to the imprinting. The cabinet has very few, minor, small scuffs. The radio measures 20 1/4" wide by 9" deep by 8 3/4" tall and weighs about 16 pounds.Please note the the photos were taken with a flash and the wood color is slightly redder than actually.The 5 01A's should be considered for display purposes as I don't recall if they are working or not. Four tubes are "S" shaped and one is "ST" shaped. THE RADIO HAS NOT BEEN OPERATED FOR MANY YEARS NOW. Therefore the radio, and tubes are being SOLD AS IS WITH NO GUARANTEE.Paarcel Poast shipping to the lower 48 states.
