The binding measures 8 1/8 inches tall by 6 inches wide. Hardcover bound in green cloth. Covers are rubbed and have pale spotting from some pest. Prior owner's name written inside front cover. Inner hinges are secure. Text is toned, with foxing in some places (usually around the illustrations). A newspaper clipping had been placed loosely between pages 32-33, and the pages show browning because of this.
