Maybe he smelled trouble brewing, as the show was a flop, playing a mere 47 performances at Broadway's Shubert Theatre in 1924.Miss Chatterton was supported by Richard "Skeets" Gallagher, Muriel Stryker, Berta Donn, Ethel Martin, Nellie Fillmore, Lovey Lee, Ralph Forbes, Minor Watson, Worthe Faulkner, Frank Doane, Billy Taylor, and Bland O'Connor.Book and lyrics by Anne Caldwell. Music by Harold Levey. Musical staging by Chester Hale and Julian Alfred. Directed by Hassard Short.Playbill is in excellent condition.
