Lovely & Unique Vintage circa 1925 Art Deco Bookends - Possibly Ronson"Puppy Triplets" - Cast Metal Terrier Dogs Just Look at this set of Gorgeous Old Bookends. Three gorgeous Terriers grace each, all three with front paws up on a wall as they intently peer over to satisfy those growing terrier minds... Appropriately entitled "Puppy Triplets", these terrific terriers are old and the years have been Very Good to them as the patina of age has only highlighted the details of posture and has improved overall impression. Could be Ronson as they usually only used a paper label to mark and any label is long gone from the original felted bottoms. A Rarity! MAGNIFICENT! These stunning dogs have been cast from light grey metal and then overwashed in a golden or brass-colored metallic finish. 6 inches tall. Original Felt on bottom. Beautiful patina. Little wear and a little tarnish as can be seen in the photos. A substantial piece of terrier and Art Deco history at over FOUR POUNDS for the pair! Excellent Condition. A smudged nose and eyebrow on one set of puppies, but this is being incredibly nit-pickie... The perfect addition to any Vintage Terrier or Metal Art Deco Bookend Collection!
