This Federal radio Panel "Drop in panel" unit mounted in a richly toned brown Mahogany Columbia phonograph with Philco AB power supply will display nicely in your Den at home or even your office....But I don`t want to ship this item (Too large & too heavy)....I can arrange for local pick-up at my home in Buffalo, NY This Federal model 147 battery powered radio gets it`s power from a Philco AB socket power housing mounted in bottom (record storage space) in the Columbia phonograph console...... The "100" series Federal sets had gold instead of nickel plating on front panels thus all panels hardware & lettering was gold color (as this unit is) in 1925 models 142 to 145 were manufactured from March to July....Thus this is a very rare radio not even listed in Larry`s book or Dick Schamberger`s hugh Federal collection which according to Babcock " Far surpasses any other (Federal collection) that I have ever seen".... read more
