The Knack of Batting by J.B Sheridan, First Edition, Louisville, Ky.: Hillerich & Bradsby, 1925. Hard to find original first pressing from Louisville Slugger. Printed in 1925. Measures 3.75 x 6" with 40+ pages. Illustrated with photographs and illustrations including two of a young Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, George Sisler, Ed Rouch, Eddie Collins and others. Also shows the line of Louisville Slugger bats available, with 1925 pricing. Stamp to back from retailer Nuebling's Sportsman's Store in Reading, PA where this book was probably given out. There is an ad inside the front cover for this company, also. CONDITION: Book is in Very Good Condition with minor cover wear. Front and back covers have vibrant color, light spotting to cover only where original ink stamp of Nuebling's store bled. Spine is tight and square with solidly secured staples. Interior pages are clean and white with no signs of discoloration. Print is sharp.
