A Unique combination of sewing machine, attachments and instruction booklet.1926 Singer Electric Sewing Machine, model number AB117305. In deed of a good clean and slight restoration. Spring housing cover needs replacement (see photo 8). It appears to have suffered a home repair using bandaids and sewing cotton to keep the cover in place.As with all electrical goods of this age, do not use it without first having it checked by a qualified electrician.Singer Sewing Libray - No.1. Short Cuts to Home Sewing. Condition is Good. Published by the Singer Sewing Machine Co. Inc. in 1930. It contains 48 pages of invaluable information on how to get the best from your newly purchased Singer sewing machine. For example it suggests a list of garments that may be trimmed with ruffling or plaiting which includes; Lingerie Petticoats and bloomers for children Frocks of cotton or silk House dresses Ruffles for boudoir pillows....Sections include "Dainty ways to use the tucker", "The French way of applying lace", "Binding Plackets". Instructions on how to clean and oil your machine, avoid breaking needles, a noisy treadle.The interior of the booklet is in good - very/good condition.
