1926 WOODEN SMALL CIGAR BOX w/10 SQUARE BULLET PENCILS National Draft Penny Puffs Up for bid is a 3 1/2 x 6 inch wooden cigar box with 10 square bullet pencils inside. The box says NATIONAL DRAFT PENNY PUFFS TAMPA, FLA on the top of the lid, and PENNY PUFFS on the front and side. T is part of a tobacco stamp on the front. The bottom says Factory #26, Coll. Dist Fla 100 with a printed disclaimer notice. The inside of the box has the original paper label, glue has released some, but label is complete. It also says 5c PKGE OF 5, and HANDMADE IN TAMPA, FLA. The box is complete, opens and closes well, although a little worn. Inside the box are 10 celluloid/bakelite bullet pencils from the 1940's with various advertising on them. They are as follows: Nebraska Certified Potato Growers Grand Island Livestock Com.Co Great Western Livestock Com, Co Miles Waller, Sioux City Iowa Great Northwest Commission Company Farmers Cooperative Association Decker Auto Electric Weidman Cafe, Weidman, Michigan Dike Savings Bank, Dike, Iowa. All of the pencils have good erasers, and various lenths of lead, and all are in great condition.
