This is a 1928 C.E. Byrd High School Gusher Yearbook from Shreveport, Louisiana. The school opened in the fall of 1925. This makes it maybe the third yearbook produced at the new school. This yearbook has colorful illustrations of the school. Wonderful period photos of the football and baseball teams. T are some nice yearbook ad's in the back including a Coca Cola ad. With this yearbook we have included a Class of 1928 40th Class Reunion (1968) brochure. This was in the yearbook. It has a name tag attached to the front. The brochure has a list of names and their current addresses. It was folded in the middle. yearbook has corner and edge wear. T is some age discoloration on some pages. Name written on the inside cover. Signatures on an autograph page. Overall in very good condition for 78 years old. Please see all photos for condition.
