This coin is a rare 1928 Peace Dollar (KEY DATE) that was minted in Philadelphia. This coin looks to have XF+ details when grading using PCGS photograde as a guide , but as you may be able to see from the pictures, it has been cleaned and has some contact marks and a few minor rim nicks . This is a great opportunity to get a guaranteed genuine key date of the series at a bargain price. I am not a professional coin grader, so please grade the coin from the pictures, and let me know if you have any questions . The coin you see is the coin you will get. I guarantee that this coin is genuine. It has a diagnostic line/die mark that is between two wisps of Liberty's hair (VAM-1, Die 3), which is only present on an authentic coin. This diagnostic line can be seen when using a 16X loupe. It is visible (and pointed out/circled) in pictures 9 and 10 (These are actual pictures of the coin listed here). This shows one of the four different possible die marks that can be used to identify a genuine 1928 P Peace Dollar. If you visit , you will see examples of all four die marks used to determine the 1928 Peace Dollars authenticity. THIS COIN WAS MINTED WITH DIE 3.
