This 36-page catalog for the Canterbury Art Company of Boston contains images and descriptions of dozens of great Art Deco Christmas cards. The idea was to order cards printed in black and white at a discount, then color them yourself. The company also sold the paints for coloring. Cards include early designs by Louise Howe Ewing and others.Good vintage condition (see photos) -- minor wrinkling to pages, some wear and minor staining to cover, including a couple of streaks on front as if stomeone was testing different colors. Please note that the photos were taken in front of a window on a sunny day, so there are some shadow visible from the window cross-pieces -- these are not on the catalog itself!A great piece of greeting card history!
