This is a 3.5 x 6 inch, 56 page recipe booklet entitled "The Kingdom That Grew Out Of A Little Boy's Garden" by Marion Mason Hale. It's from 1929 and was put out by the "Hawaiian Pineapple Company". It's the story of James Drummond Dole and how he started the Dole Company. The contents include "Perfect Hawaiian Pineapple"...."How you may know and select Hawaiian Pineapple grown and packed by Dole"........"The new way to buy canned Hawaiian Pineapple"......"How you may know and select the three grades of Dole Pineapple"......"Thirty-nine new and fascinating Hawaiian Pineapple Recipes"......"Hawaiian Pineapple Juice-nature's perfect beverage"....."Look for Dole stamped in the top of the can".....and "Brands of Hawaiian Pineapple packed by Dole". This has small photos of Jim Dole's homestead shack, laying the 4000 miles of paper in which the pineapples were planted, the inside and outside of the cannery, and pictures of some of the recipes. Some of the recipes include "Hawaiian Pineapple and Marshmallow Sandwiches"....."Bread and Butter Hawaiian Pineapple Pudding"......"Stuffed Liver Rolls and Hawaiian Pineapple".....and 36 others that really do sound good. This has a small letter tucked inside it from the Hawaiian Pineapple Company telling about this booklet and their wonderful pineapple. This is in excellent condition.
