1929 Star Player Candy Lou Gehrig #32 SGC 10 Poor 1. "Star Player Candy" is a brand name you don't see very often among hundreds of pages of auction catalog presentations. The fragile cards feature thick borders and many unique images not seen elsewhere. Offered is New York Yankees legend Lou Gehrig. 1929 was a typical year (35 Home runs, 125 RBIs and .300 batting average) for the "Iron House" but a rare year where the Yankees didn't end the year in first place. Graded SGC 10 Poor 1. The grade is a reflection of the multiple creases. A very coveted subject from a very tough edition often missing from even advanced type-card collections. Grade: 10, Service: SGC, Service No.: 2005321
