1930 Dodge Boat Ad extremely rare. Edward Wilson illustrated Dodge Boat Ads normally appeared in 7 different magazines. They began in 1929 and ended in 1931. There are 23 different featuring a Dodge boat Edward Wilson illustrated ads. This ad appeared in only 2 magazines , one dated December 1930 and the second January 1931. The ads appeared in large format (like The Sportsman) and smaller format magazines (like The New Yorker). This ad is currently in a January 1931 The Sportsman magazine. This ad is a large format ad.The fact that this ad is still in the magazine made it difficult to scan. The first picture is a photograph. Pictures 2 and 3 are scans and due to the limit of my scanner show only a portion of the ad.When you acquire this ad you will get it in the January 1931 The Sportsman magazine. The quality of the magazine is good to very good except for the spline. The magazine was apart of a bound collection of magazines and the spline was glued to the book cover. The 4th picture is the cover of the magazine. There are many other great color ads in the magazine.
