Gorham Flatware Service~ Lady Caroline ~ ITEM DESCRIPTION: For your consideration is a silverplate flatware service from Gorham, in the "Lady Caroline" pattern. Excellenty quality silver! Each piece in the set has an "S" monogram on the handle. The silver service comes in a wooden chest with drawer, as found. The chest has a walnut finish and is finger-jointed on the corners. T is a brass plate on the top, that has no monogram or inscription. Each piece in the set is marked on the back as shown in one of the pictures below. The set includes: 8 Dinner Forks ~ 7-1/4" 8 Salad/Dessert Forks ~ 6-5/8" 8 Seafood/Cocktail Forks ~ 5-1/2" 8 Dinner Knives ~ 8-7/8" 8 Butter Spreaders ~ 5-1/2" 8 Ice Tea Spoons ~ 7-1/2" 8 Round Bowl Soup Spoons ~ 6-1/4" 16 Teaspoons ~ 5-7/8" 4 Serving Spoons or Tablespoons ~ 8-1/2" 1 Sugar Spoon ~ 5-7/8" 1 Pickle/Olive Fork ~ 5-7/8" 1 Master Butter Knife ~ 7" 1 Gravy or Sauce Ladle ~ 5-7/8" 1 Cake or Pie Server ~ 9-3/4" 1 Meat Fork ~ 8-5/8" 1 Casserole Spoon ~ 8-3/4" CONDITION: Excellent! The silver is clean and has a very beautiful shine and vintage patina. The silver is very smooth to the touch and t are no sharp edges and no dents.
