~Vintage Gordon Highlander OR's Kilt with Kilt Pin, Glengarry & Cap Badge~A few small repair jobs required, but as a whole it's a structurally sound garment,Remains of the original paper label inside, unfortunately it's too illegible to make out the date, etc, but definitely old and military!Other ranks version with two vertical yellow stripes either side of the centre front (officer's version had three stripes with one placed centrally). Worn in wartime mainly by bandsmen who doubled up as stretcher bearers, and there are photos showing use pre-Dunkirk by BEF, otherwise too much material required given wartime rationing for any large scale issue for overseas,It would fit a 30-32" waist, but by moving the two buckles at the side it could be made larger with minimum effort,This is an old item of militaria and as such I have tried to get good pictures of any small holes that need darning (get out your housewife kits!),Please see Photos & !(Please note I only ship to the UK)
