This is a great old Navajo or Hopi silver cuff bracelet with overlay cut-outs of two Medicine birds (water-birds, peyote-birds) flanking a central file-work and stamped Eagle-feather prayer fan, the overall motif being associated with The Native American Church or other sacramental Peyote ceremonies. Beautiful silverwork with curved outer and concave inner surfaces, scalloped feather-tips, fine sawn overlay and old die-stamping. Unsigned. Silver content is sterling or close. Nice use patina with minimal loss of detail. Excellent condition, good weight, no weak spots or fatigue, some malleability. I'd say late-30's to early-50's.Width = 1 inch Inside end-to-end = 5.75 inches Gap = 1.25 inchesWeight = 54.3 gm Check out my other items !Notice: I'll be away from July 11th through the 17th and will ship upon my return.
