It doesn't get much more Art Deco than this striking wall mask/plaque featuring a gorgeous redhead with pencil-thin eyebrows in a green and white striped hat with a green and white scarf tied around her neck. This ceramic piece was produced by the Czech company, Erphila, in the 1930's. It is well-marked on the back with the company name, an incised number, and a "B" near the top which I presume is the initial of the artist who painted it.It is in wonderful condition for an 80+ year old ceramic piece. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. I took a close-up photo of the one tiny spot of paint loss on her eyebrow. If you notice any tiny dark spots on her face or scarf, know that they were little spots of dirt that I didn't realize were there when I photographed her and which have now been cleaned off. Close to the bottom of the piece, in the white section of her scarf, there is a small raised spot of something that didn't wash off. It's not very noticeable. It may even be a manufacturing flaw. But I am trying to be completely upfront about anything that could be remotely considered a flaw.Shipping is $10.00 and will include insurance. I will wrap her carefully for shipping.
