A really nice 1920/30s Art Deco oak swivel office desk chair/captains chair. The chair has a shaped top rail which sits above 2 out swept arms which rest atop shaped supports with a plain lathe back. The 20 inch wide seat is upholstered in brown leather and finished with a brass studded edge. There is a threaded steel shaft with a ring adjustment for height and also a handle to adjust the tension in lean. The chair has a made in England stamp on its underside. There are 4 out swept angled shaped oak legs. The chair is in good used condition and has some signs of wear but is generally in good condition. The chair is structurally sound and free from worm. The seat is nicely stuffed making it comfortable to sit on. The chair has a lovely colour and patination with nice figuring and it has a classic 1930s look which would suit any home or office interior. Seat height is 17.5 inches and arms height from floor is 27.00 inches. I live between Rugby and Coventry close to the M1 , M6, A14 Buyer is welcome to collect or delivery can be arranged.
