An aunt of mine is selling her home of 50 years and is moving into a condo. She has some unique items, all in excellent condition. We are hoping someone can add these "treasures" to their collection. Here is an unusual vase from the 1930's in a Craftsman or Arts & Craft style. The vase is 8 inches tall and is modeled like a tree trunk with fluctuations in the bark, areas where branches have been "sawn" off, etc. It is made of a heavy cream-colored cream-colored clay as can be seen on the unglazed bottom. I see no manufacturer's markings of any kind. The coloration is a dusty, muted teal/turquoise color--leading more to the greenish/grayish side of the blue spectrum. The interior of the vase is completely glazed and the finish is not shiny, but rather a matte finish. It is in excellent condition being free of chips, cracks or crazing. Auntie displayed it in the fall of the years, putting small cattails in it. We have some other items up for auction at this time; check those out if you can as we will be happy to combine items to save on shipping costs. Shipping will be $9.50 to addresses within the United States . Items will ship out the next business day after payment is received. Thank you for looking at my item and good luck bidding!
